Mounting

On the 2nd of May 2013 in the KR server, the new mounting system was introduced.

How to acquire a Mount

You may purchase a Mount 'Ice Burner' item called an Ancient Fossil Discriminator (NA : Fossil Readers) in the cash shop for 900NX. (NA : 100 K-Ching) Opening this special 'Ice Burner' will give you a chance at acquiring a random mount of your own. Do note that not only Mounts are obtainable from Ancient Fossil Discriminator, other rewards for example are: Pets, Lv 7, Lv 8, Lv 9 upgrade scrolls, some pet food and Elstones. After purchasing an Ancient Fossil Discriminator, you will also need to make an Unidentified Ancient Fossil at the alchemist in every town by combining 5 Magical Ice Powder and 1 Elixir of Alchemy.

Another way of acquiring a Mount is to buy it off someone from the Market.

How to access Mounts

If you are a lucky winner of getting a Mount from the Ancient Fossil Discriminator or buying it off the market, you should have 1 of these icons.

By right clicking them, they will be added to your list of Mounts. Your list of Mounts is accessible by going to your Pets list. There will be another tab added after the updates for the Mounts.

Unless you want to permanently DELETE your mount, do not press the red button.

How to use Mounts

After clicking on the Mount you want to use, next to their icon would have a button as shown below.

The left picture is showing the Mount is kept. After pressing the button next to the icon, it will change to the right Picture, meaning you are on your Mount. You are able to go into Mount Mode in Fields/Dungeons/Towns.

A shortcut for going into Mount Mode is by pressing the button 'F'.

Like normal pets, Mounts also have a Stamina bar.

After your Mount's stamina is consumed, it will automatically go out of Mount Mode. Its stamina bar will regenerate when you are in town or if you're off Mount Mode in dungeons and fields.

Special Abilities of Mounts

While in dungeons, riding on your mount will change all your skills to Mount Attack Skills. Each Mount has a different set of skills available, and they can be used by pressing the 'Z', 'X', 'C' buttons. Movement of Mounts will also be different, for example: Cockatrice will be able to double jump, and Ponggo Scorpion TYPE-R is able to air run.

Another Use of Mounts, is that you will acquire a buff, giving the following bonuses:

Default Movement Speed is increased(Walk Speed 700, Dash Speed 1000)
Damage received decrease by 50%
Activation chance of some Elements are increased (+2%)
HP recovery is also increased (+2.5% every 5 seconds)

Available Mounts

Here is a list of Mounts and their skills which are currently in the game.

After 9th June 2013 Patch, mounts damage is all 'Average Physical and Magical Attack'
All mount's skills have same cooldown and MP Cost for each mount.
- Z attacks has no cooldown.
- X attacks has 5 seconds cooldown.
- C attacks has 10 seconds cooldown and requires 150 MP.

Cockatigle (바람의 코우시카)

Pecks Pecks 3 times at targets. Pecks: 222% x3. Jump Z, Dash-jump Z: Tail Whip Damage: 336% x2.	Eye Laser Fires a laser from its eye, similar to a normal cockatrice monster. Laser: 156% x16.	Flint energy bolt Fires a giant beam from its mouth. Laser: 261% x8.

Able to double jump.

Moby Chariot RT (돌진 전차 모비RT)

Rams Violently rams into targets. Affects jump Z attacks too: charges in midair. Ram: 108% x6.	Ramming Charge Rams non-stop at targets in front of it. Charges frontally for about 600 meters range. Charging hit: 255% x6, Crash hit: 500%.	Shooting Missiles Shoots 12 homing missiles. Shell Damage: 120%, Explosion damage:300%.

Fireball Shoots a normal fireball at targets. Affects jump Z attacks too: Shoots fireball diagonally. Impact: 236%, Explosion: 400%	Fireshock damage Stomps the ground with fire at its paw, damaging at targets around it. Fire wave: 274% x10.	Mega Fire Breath Release a long breath of fire. Breath: 507% x8. Range of about 2000 meters.

Able to glide across the air. Press and hold after jumping.

Ponggo Scorpion TYPE-R (퐁고 스콜피온 TYPE-R)

Double Slash 2 Frontal slashes Slashes: 328% x2. Jump Z : Shoots electron-ball diagonally. Impact Damage: 236%, Explosion damage: 400%.	Electron-balls Barrage Fires a barrage of Electron-balls from the tip of its tail. Impact Damage: 100% x12, Explosion damage: 134% x12.	Electronic Claw Enchant Charges claws with electrical energy causing them to extend to a bigger range. Also it increases Z's damage. Stab: 360%. Z attack: 400% x2.

Able to air walk. Press after jumping.

Ice

Ice Hameling (아이스 하멜링)

Double Slash 2 Frontal slashes Slashes: 328% x2 Jump Z : Rams down diagonally. Ram: 328% x3.	Ice Breath Release an icy breath from its mouth. Touching the breath will inflict frostbite. Breath: 267% x7.	Ice Fall Summons many icicles and rain them down on targets. When targets touches the icicles, they will be inflicted with frostbite. Icicles: 360%.

Fire

Fire Hameling (파이어 하멜링)

Double Slash 2 Frontal slashes Slashes: 328% x2 Jump Z : Rams down diagonally. Ram: 328% x3.	Fire Burst Release a fiery breath from its mouth. Touching the breath will inflict burn. Breath: 1638% Continuous hits: 47% x6.	Deep Impact Summons 7 meteors and rain them down on targets. Meteors that touch the ground will have a small round explosion. When targets touches the meteors, they will be inflicted with burn. Impact: 378%, Explosion: 168% x9.

Dark

Dark Hameling (다크 하멜링)

Double Slash 2 Frontal slashes Slashes: 328% x2 Jump Z : Rams down diagonally. Ram: 328%.	Darkness Shot Release a dark ball from its mouth. The ball is slow moving and will pierce through targets. Ball: 78% multiple hits. Explode: 1638%.	Dark Calling Summons a giant gravity orb in mid air. All targets inside will be damaged continuously and be inflicted with Helpless. Summon orb: 1134%. Damage: 47% multiple hits.

Eve Custom - Oberon 650 (이브 커스텀-오베론650)

Energy Ball Fire Fire 2 energy balls. Ball: 320% x2 Jump Z : Fire 2 energy balls downwards. Ball: 328% x2.	Laser Drift Rams forward in super armor and performs a circular drift. Targets will be inflicted with frostbite when hit. Charges frontally for about 800 meters range. Charging hit: 120%, Drift: 460%.	Twin Energy Cannon Fire two lasers that sweep 90 degrees upwards. Works similar to Atomic Blaster - Plasma Gun and range is almost as long as Psychic Artillery. Laser Damage: 80% Multiple Hits
